I don’t read a lot of historical mysteries, but Mistress of Fortune by Holly West was recommended to you, so I decided to give it a shot. To put it bluntly, I lost literally some sleep because I couldn’t put it down. The historical details (dress, customs, buildings) really helped establish the setting for me, and Ms. West did an excellent job with character development.
