This is a terrific story which kick-starts Matt Fraction's work on Thor, which became The Mighty Thor after this volume. The artwork by Pasqual Ferry is stunning, and their chemistry clearly worked as they paired up again for The Mighty Thor by Matt Fraction - Vol. 2 (Thor (Graphic Novels)). As is usual during Fraction's reign, he spends a lot of time focusing on the mortal people of Broxton, and none more so than in this book, which I have found always refreshing.
